Simon Thuo

Simon brings over 31 years of experience in civil engineering, water resources and utility management, with expertise in water resource development, climate resilience and institutional strengthening. From 2003 to 2012 he served as Regional Coordinator for GWP Eastern Africa, supporting countries across the Nile Basin and Greater Horn of Africa to strengthen sustainable water development and climate adaptation. He has also contributed to the African Union’s Technical Committee on Climate Change. Simon joined Dig Deep’s Board in 2025.
