Meet Catherine...

Headteacher at Kagasik Girls' School

When Catherine started working at Kagasik, there were 12 pupils.

Through her dynamic and ambitious leadership, she has overseen the implementation of boarding rooms, clean water tanks, toilets and new classrooms, meaning that the school population has expanded to over 200 pupils.

The students are talented and ambitious, and have the confidence and support they need to work towards university and beyond. The school is doing all it can to make sure that no girl’s potential is limited by her background or difficulties.

Catherine continues to work hard to make sure that these girls achieve change, in their own lives, and in the wider community.
