Education is every child’s right - but where we work in Kenya, many children are denied this right simply because they don’t have access to clean water and safe sanitation.
Since we were founded the majority of Dig Deep’s work has been with schools, and so the vast majority of people we have helped to get taps and toilets are children and young adults.
Our school linking programme will put your staff and students directly in touch with their counterparts at a school we work with in Kenya.
Here’s how it works:
1. You let us know about your school’s wish to link up by filling in the form below
2. We’ll be in touch to find out more about your school and to discuss how best we can link you with one of the schools we partner with in Kenya. We know that every school is unique, and so it is always best to design a bespoke initiative that works for students and staff in both countries.
3. We link your schools - how schools interact can vary from classic pen pals, more advanced video conferencing, throwing fundraising events and even exchanges for students and staff. What’s important is that these links result in more people getting access to taps and toilets and broaden the horizons of children and young people in both Kenya and the UK
